Crunchtime Host Quoting Methods
Crunchtime Host is split between two products, Crunchtime Host for Windows, and a Crunchtime Host cloud subscription for iOS. This article details the available quoting methods for each product. Choosing the best Quoting method for your store will ensure the best customer experience.
Crunchtime Host for Windows:
Quoting Method:
- Fixed Quote Per Party Size: Provides a set quote time depending on the number of guests in a party. The quotes are clearly defined in the Crunchtime Host Portal.
- Table Turns: A table turn is the amount of time a party is at a table; from the time they are seated until they leave. This quote method uses the configured Table Turns to return a quote based on the available tables that meet the party’s needs.
- Guests Per Hour: System-generated quote based on a slot-based algorithm that evaluates the number and size of parties on the wait list for 100, 125, 150, and 180 guests. Quote ranges are based on party size and configured in the Crunchtime Host Portal.
- Guests Per Hour (Configurable): Use the GPH quoting algorithm with a unique number of guests per hour.
- Historical Table Turns: Looks at the number of weeks used for forecasting waiting and seating information for historical parties
- Guests on the Wait List: References the total number of parties on the waitlist when determining which quote is selected. The quotes are clearly defined in the Crunchtime Host Portal.
