ConnectSmart® Host (Formerly DineTime)/Google Integration Expands with Restaurant Waitlist Software Functionality
Restaurant operators look for technology investments that produce two things: visibility and traffic. Luckily, ConnectSmart® Host (Formerly DineTime)’s latest Google integration expands our restaurant waitlist software, so operators get both but with an added BAM! (As Emeril would say!)
QSR Automations has 20 of the top 25 fast-casual dining chains as customers. Together, we surmised that our front-of-the-house (FOH) solution ConnectSmart® Host would reach a huge majority of establishments in conjunction with their network. With that knowledge, Google approached our team to help expand its Reserve with Google capabilities to include Waitlisting. The new capability would give diners more options when searching for the perfect place to eat.
Having worked with Google previously on another integration, we welcomed this opportunity to work with the king of online searching to give its ConnectSmart® Host customers a way to take advantage of Waitlist Through Reserve with Google. This would enable our customers’ hungry diners to see their wait times and get on waitlists directly from Google Search or Google Maps.
Here’s the Big Change
Now with Waitlist Through Reserve with Google, diners will have new visibility into the restaurant’s real-time seating capabilities. Now, diners can tap into Google’s network capability on their phone or desktop using Google Search or Google Maps to see whether they should immediately head to the restaurant or get on a restaurant’s waitlist. Paired with ConnectSmart® Host technology, restaurants can empower their diners with seating transparency that has never before been accessible.
Why ConnectSmart® Host?
Using the ConnectSmart® Host app, the days of diners waiting at restaurants while the kids are climbing over each other to get the best bench seats in the restaurant waiting area are over. Those diners can now make diner plan decisions much easier by getting on waitlists and booking reservations with our ConnectSmart® Host customers. The knowledge and expertise our organization and development team has about waitlisting technology made this partnership announcement a no-brainer for Google.
How This Latest Integration Helps Operators
Just like the first integration we did with Reserve with Google, operators will now have the ability to drive happier dining traffic to their restaurants by keeping those diners informed throughout the process. This visibility into wait times is now completely accessible for hungry diners looking for a place to eat using Google Search or Google Maps.
We’re excited to see the impact this restaurant waitlist software integration will have on the restaurant industry and are proud to be a part of bringing it to the public.
